$100 is it worth $100

You would naturally assume that if you had a $100 it would get you a $100 worth of goods and/or services. But taking into account different taxies, cost of living and of course the re-turn the company wants can affect you in many ways.
For example $100 wound gets you 1$08-116+ worth of good/services, while in most of New York state it would get you $100-104, or in Manthon and other parts of New York City you would only get $84-88.
